If there is snow there is always Snow play! The ski hill has been returned to the county and all the old equipment is gone so it is perfect for sledding.

Some important thoughts for safe snow play.

• Please park and play far enough away from the main road to be safe. The ice that forms on the roads can not always be seen and cars are likely to slide. We do not want you or your children in the way.
  
  
  
• Use the turnouts to put on chains. There are plenty of turnouts available for chain installation and removal. Please do not stop in a lane to put them on. This is dangerous and it backs up traffic
  
  
  
• Stay off the lake. Although it looks like fun to slide on the ice, it is not strong. If you fall in it could kill you
